My name is on the board at the office. I’ve moved in and organized my new space, with the help of my loving husband and my niece. I feel at home in my new office, settled and ready to begin seeing clients.
I am so thankful for so many things. I’m thankful for being here, healthy, alive and ready to begin this new chapter of my life. I’m thankful for my husband’s loving support and encouragement. I’m thankful for the help from my niece, Dawn, who has also been excited for me and happy to help. I’m thankful for the woman at Target who helped me with the pieces of furniture I bought there, and for the gentleman at Hollister Discount Furniture for his help in purchasing some lovely pieces to help create the homey but professional feeling I was aiming for. I am thankful that I get to begin again. And I’m thankful for all of my past clients who have put their trust in me and revealed their troubles to me. I’m thankful for the opportunity to listen, to hold a sacred space for healing, and to believe in the process.
I am thankful too, for simple things like seeing my name on the board at the office.
