So you aren’t sure if I will be able to help you to feel better? That is not uncommon. If you’ve never been to a therapist before, reaching out and asking for help can be frightening. If you’ve been to a therapist before, and now you are needing to find someone who is a better fit for you, that can be frightening, too. Let me help you to feel a little less worried.

When you decide to seek my help, I will work to provide you with a calm, safe and professional therapy experience. Some frequently asked questions are answered here. If you still have questions after reading this page, please call or email me, and I will respond to you within 24 hours. I am committed to making your concerns a high priority.

Appointments are 50 minutes, unless I determine that you would benefit from a longer session. Your first appointment will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other better, and I will take care of some routine paperwork including explaining the risks and benefits of therapy, my office policies, billing practices and payment options.

I work to create a comfortable, safe environment where you can be honest with me and we can work together to find solutions to your unique personal issues. You will quickly discover that I utilize a collaborative approach, respecting you and your preferences.

You may be wondering if this will be expensive, or if you can afford me. I am a credentialed provider with several insurance carriers. When you call me, we can discuss whether I am a provider with your insurance.  Your responsibility will be your standard copay plus any unmet deductible.
